Honoring John Cox Friends 4 Life is named in honor of the late John Cox, a Sarasota business and family man who generously shared his talents and resources to help others, including the developmentally disabled.Cox, who owned Halfacre Construction Company until his death in 2008, believe he had a "higher calling" to do the right thing and to give back to the community that had been good to him. Through his commitment to serve those in need, John Cox made "friends for life". And now, his legacy of personal sacrifice and generosity will live on as others follow in his footsteps. |
