Residential Living

Residential services include one co-ed group home.  The home has a supervisor on location daily.  Residents learn to depend on themselves for basic living needs with assistance from the supervisor.  In Supported Living there are 14 residents that live in their own apartments in the community.  These residents have a coach to assist individually, with everything from budgeting household expenses and decorating their homes to ensuring community involvement through church and social functions.

Group Home
Residents from different backgrounds living together in a family style environment.  Currently, we have one co-ed group  home.  In the home, residents may learn skills such as meal preparation, laundry, housekeeping, money management and personal shopping while under staff supervision.  Social activities that the residents enjoy include opera, ballet, boat trips, museum visits, picnics, professional baseball games, and dining out.

Respite
Designed to give those not living in the group home a chance to experience residential living outside the family home for a brief period of time.  Respite stays may be arranged for an evening or up to a month, allowing the respite’s family an opportunity to enjoy an evening out or out-of-town travel, knowing their family member is safe and enjoying the company of his/her peers.
 

Supported Living
Provides support for those individuals who wish to live in their own home or apartment.  Supported Living provides a range of services from assisting individuals in selection of housing, setting up their own home and providing on-going support as needed.
