The SkillsUSA Championships is the showcase activity of the organization. This annual event begins with contests in the classrooms. Winners advance through district or regional events, to state competition, with state winners advancing to the national event.  They test their skills, make job contacts, and have a chance for recognition. State and national winners receive gold, silver and bronze medallions, scholarships, tools and other awards.
